Worldwork 2020 Conference, partly online?
Last year I met Andre Smith from Diversity Matters. He was preparing the Worldwork 2020 Conference and wondered if some of the participants would be able to participate in Worldwork sessions online.
I received a number of videos from him in which it became clear what the essential parts of Woldwork* are.
What is Worldwork?
Worldwork is a form of Deep Democracy applied by psychologists, therapists with groups, teams, organizations, international events and in challenges around major themes such as climate transition.
Worldwork works to thoroughly improve relationships between people and groups and is used, for example, to strengthen neighbourhood communities or neighborhoods. Diversity Matters has also developed an award-winning game for this purpose, the Go Deep project.
After my analysis of the videos, I gave advice on how we could transform Worldwork’s physical activities into online activities with no loss of intended impact. We developed this further in an online conversation.

Design questions concerning transformation IRL/online Worldwork sessions:
We agreed that Worldwork online offers a lot of opportunities to work with more and different groups, without having to fly all over the world all the time. I look forward to the first experiences.
